This action cannot be undone
Deleting your account will:
- • Permanently remove your profile and personal information
- • Delete your order history and saved addresses
- • Remove your saved payment methods
- • Clear all your preferences and favorites
- • Delete all chat conversations with shops
What happens when you delete your account?
Your account will be immediately deactivated. You will no longer be able to place orders or access the OrderBy app.
All personal data (name, phone, address, payment methods, preferences) will be permanently deleted within 30 days in compliance with GDPR and privacy regulations.
• Order receipts & transaction records: Retained for 7 years (India tax/GST compliance)
• Payment history: Retained for dispute resolution & fraud prevention (180 days minimum)
• Chat history with shops: Retained for 90 days to resolve order disputes, then deleted
• Anonymized usage data: Retained indefinitely (non-identifiable analytics only)
Your data will be removed from all active systems. Standard server backups may retain data for up to 90 days before expiring.
How to Delete Your Account
Open the OrderBy App
Sign in with your account credentials
Go to Support Channel
Navigate to the Chat or Help section in the app
Type "account delete"
Send a message in the support chat and type exactly: account delete
Confirm via Email
Follow the confirmation link sent to your email address within 7 days
Request Account Deletion
If you're unable to delete from the app, submit a deletion request below:

You can delete your account at any time. If you have active orders, we recommend waiting until they're completed. Once deletion is confirmed, you won't be able to track active orders, but the shop will still fulfill them.
